Dear ISG Community,
On behalf of the ISG Board of Trustees, I am writing to inform you that our Superintendent, Dr. Michael Mack, will be departing ISG at the end of the 2023-24 school year.
Dr. Mack was selected to lead our organization in November 2018. He joined ISG with his wife, Jeanne, in August 2019 and was charged with developing and improving all aspects of education in our ISG schools - while also completing the most significant construction project in our history and the move of ASD, BSD and our district office to our new flagship campus in Aziziyah.
In his time with ISG, Dr. Mack has led our efforts to support students, staff and the families and the communities we serve. He has propelled our organization forward during his tenure by improving an outstanding learning environment that serves over 3,000 students representing more than 70 different nationalities.
Dr. Mack has worked tirelessly to bring an increasing level of excellence to all aspects of our complex multi-campus educational organization and will leave ISG better prepared than ever before to continue the future work ahead.
We are grateful that Dr. Mack will be continuing his commitment to serve as ISG’s Superintendent through the 2023-24 school year, during which time he will be supporting the transition of his duties to a new superintendent we expect to start in August of 2024.
I am pleased to inform you that the search process for the new superintendent of ISG has already begun. The Board of Trustees has formed a search committee and engaged an educational search consultant with worldwide experience and recruiting reach.
We would like to extend our sincerest thanks to Dr. Mack for his dedication and achievements during his time here at ISG and we wish Dr. Mack and his family all the very best in their future endeavors.
Mr. Andrew Law,
ISG Board Chair
