Dear Parents,
This week I’d like to give you a facilities update from some of our campuses.
The ISG Jubail campus received a fresh coat of paint and some new signage. The conference room was updated with new meeting features, classrooms were updated with furniture and flexible seating, and soft-play equipment was introduced for the Elementary PE area.
In ASD and BSD we are working to adjust the temperature in the buildings. As you probably already know it has been cold, and sometimes uncomfortably so. In some areas the temperature has been warm. This is a warranty issue and we are working with the buildings’ owner to resolve it. Our ISG Operations Team is sharing updates with me on a daily basis. I do apologize for the inconvenience and ask for your patience as we work to solve the problem.
I’m happy to announce that the aquatics program launched this week in ASD and BSD. To commemorate this new beginning our Aquatics Director, Jason Schmidt, organized a Cannonball Challenge for our Administrators. Please watch a short video of that event, and I’ll let you be the judge of who won that challenge.
Last weekend many of our ISG students participated in the Saudi Regional Swim Competition and I couldn’t be more proud of them. As we develop our aquatics program to offer classes and training for students from all our schools, we hope to see more of them develop their swimming skills and join national and international competitions.
I’d like to remind you that all our ISG schools will be closed between October 21-29, 2022 for Fall break.
